Months ago, I found an incredible book for sale at the library, Italian Gardens by Georgina Masson (published in 1960). It was filled with black and white full-page photography and detailed drawings of garden plans. The printing was impeccable. Anyway, I bought it and decided we would enjoy the photography on the wall rather than tucked away in a book. (I hesitated for about 2 minutes before carefully taking my x-acto knife to the pages!)
Here’s one of the finished products. It’s a series of nine pages mounted on a 24 x 36 canvas. I painted the top, bottom, and sides with dark charcoal to finish it off. Stay tuned… more wall art to come from this beautiful book!
