My work is displayed in the collection below. While some of my favorite pieces can be found in the Furniture as Art collection, I also enjoy painting an old piece white, adding character to a bland dresser with color and texture, or honoring the origins of a piece of furniture by leaving parts of it untouched by paint.

Love what you’re doing!
Appreciate the painting tips, though I didn’t see the recipe for homemade chalk paint. I want something a little darker than an Annie Sloan color and looking to save money.

Hi Andrea:
Here’s the recipe: It’s basically one part Plaster of Paris mixture to three parts paint. To make the PoP mixture add water to the PoP and mix very well till the consistency is a bit thinner than peanut butter. Then add three parts paint to that mixture and mix very well. That recipe has worked for me and I hope this helps. Thanks for taking a look at my portfolio.

I can see your graphic designer training and ‘constitution’ in your work, so clean lined, precise and calm. I owned a PR/MKT/ADV Agency for 19 years and hired graphic designers…so I can tell.
I enjoy your work! Keep it up.

when looking at your pieces, it’s clear that you’re a graphic designer (i’m married to one!). it’s so hard NOT to overdo a piece graphically and you know when to draw the line. can’t wait to see what you’re up to next!
