So I was perusing Craigslist one day instead of doing laundry and happened to stumble upon a piece of furniture that caught my eye. Well actually, the price did. The seller was asking $50 and I gave him every bit of the asking price for this beauty.

Process
Drawer and cabinet fronts: lightly sanded them, primed, and applied three coats of a shade of white in Benjamin Moore Advance Satin. This is the only paint I use on the mid century pieces I do.

Frame: sanded down to the raw wood/veneer, stained with Dark Walnut, then sealed with Varathane Satin poly.

Hardware: This is the original hardware and finish.

Before
The piece was so heavy that I placed it on its back side after arriving home from the purchase. I could have propped it up but thought the weight of the piece would put undue stress on the legs. IMG_2077
